    First Bangladeshi MP Rushanara Ali meets with local peeple during visit to Rochdale

    Britain’s first Bangladeshi MP met with community leaders and local residents during a visit to Rochdale in the weekend.

    Rushanara Ali, who was elected in May for Bethnal Green and Bow having defeated high profile candidate George Galloway with a huge majority of almost 12,000 votes, met with Rochdale MP Simon Danczuk and other local figures at Bangladesh Association Community Project.
