I usually go to the Shaka one, it's gonna be in a different place this year. I hardly go these days though, probably only went 3 days last year! I used to love it when I was a kid though.

You know, the mixed one, they've had it at the Gurdwara for the past few years but now it's gonna be in one of those units off Thornton Road opposite the Mercedes dealership.

well i want to move out bradford that's for sure cos it's a big pile of crap and i like leicester, that's why i've also been trying to find a job there, well either that or manchester but i don't know how much longer i could last here =s

Yaaaaaaaay Leicester's wicked! I never wanted to move back :( I loved Leicester! I've never been to garba there though coz I used to work until 11 o' clock!

i need garba sticks cuz where doing the dance for my cuzinz mehndie in december.. were going it to taaal :)

but yeah sticks... from where.. and if possible not so expensive?

you can probs get em from any asian shop on green street or iflord lane......and they wont be too expensive!

yeah my cuzin checked on green street and the man said there going to be coming in,... but he said summin like £3/£4 a pair which is a bit much as we need a lot of pairs.. cuz were going to do our dance and then were going to give the sticks out randomly and get people to join in...... hmm might have to shop around

Any hardware shop, get them to cut it for you. I think they're about a foot long? Can't remember now!

We borrowed them for a uni event last year.
