I used to love going as a kid, until I grew up and saw what really went on there :|

I think I may be going to Preston for it next Friday though. I don't know if I'm going any other day here.

i hate it now, cos a lot of people go to get churpsed etc and it aint about that, thats what annoys me..
i make an effort for navratri by dressing up etc, and ppl say to me, ur bad blah blah cos u jus wana get noticed, and its like wtf do u know

That's why I don't go anymore. If they wanna do that they should fucking go clubbing or something. Don't be doing that shit there. Sorry I know I ain't religious anymore but that shit still annoys me.

i go for the religious side to it, to do the whole dancing thing, having a good time...in the sense of the dancing and that with friends!
same with when people go to the mandhir at diwali etc.....

I just go to do garba and dandiya with my family but ain't really got much of a family now so I may just go one day this year - next Friday to go garba in Preston with my cousins there, should be good coz I've never been to garba anywhere but Bradford!

yea my brother is like u, he comes on the last day, or on poonam but doesnt the other days

Lol yea it's worse than going clubbing, I feel embarassed coz of what the other kids do, I go with family and they go with friends to pull and the worst thing is, some of my distant cousins do the same!

I mean yea I may see some fit guys there but I don't go and chat them up, I just look from a distance! Anyways most of them guys are youths, I'm old enough to be their mother! ?>

I dunno if I'll be well enough to go on Friday! I went Preston last Friday though. I've never been to London, I should come down one day.

Oh, one of my mates just messaged me on MSN and said that if you look at the full moon, you can see Sai Baba's face but I don't know who told him that coz it's not even Poonam today :S I tried looking but it's too far away, I need binoculars or something
